Apostle Willie Sims accepted his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and became an avid student and minister of the Word of God. He received his divine mandate from God to go and preach to all nations and to make disciples.
The Bible states in Ephesians, Chapter Four, “…He gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers…” Apostle Sims has been serving his Lord through the five manifold gifts of the spirit.
Apostle Sims, licensed and ordained, has been active in authoritative, dynamic, preaching and teaching of God’s word in public ministry since 1995. God has prepared him during the backdrop of life for such a time as this, in this time and in this season, to walk in the apostolic call likened unto the spirit of Paul which God has placed in his life. Herein lies the call and the anointing of a “wise masterbuilder” to lay spiritual foundations through uncompromised biblical teaching of Kingdom principles so that people are taught and trained the truth of God’s Word; so that they might know who they are, what they have in Christ, and that all may come to Know Him….according to the divine prophetic word of God spoken unto him… “You shall teach many My Ways.”
Apostle Sims served as the We Care Jesus Ministry, Outreach Minister in Peoria, Illinois for three years where he taught B.I.B.L.E, the Believer’s Instructed Bible Lesson Education and preached the Word of God each Sunday evening to believers and some who were considered outcasts and heavy down-trodden.
Apostle Sims committed to the vision of another and served faithfully along side the 26 year ministry of Pastor Leroy Davis, of Word of Faith Christian Center Church, in Peoria, Illinois.
Apostle Sims, a gifted man walking in the true apostolic and prophetic, according to “them which say such things, declaring plainly,” according to Genesis 12, Hebrews 11:14, who talk and act after Abraham’s fashion and undertake the task and do “such things” as did Abraham. To get thee out of a city unto a “land” which God had shown him:” So Apostle Sims by faith and in faith, according to the typical life of faith departed with his wife Kimberly Sims “a help meet for him.”
Apostle Sims and Kimberly were convenantly wed on January 1,1998 and are the spiritual guiding parents of seven children. They work closely in a covenant three-cord effect, that, which cannot be easily broken, to bring forth the plan and the promise of God into total fruition. They understand that in unity is where the anointing and favor of God flows.
Apostle Sims has been divinely positioned, ordained and mandated with apostolic and pastoral responsibilities and authority to embark upon the spiritual endeavor to plant New Life in Christ International Ministries. Apostle Sims is grateful to God for His supreme mandate, for such a Kingdom endeavor to originate in the “land” called Alabama.
